How To Be Your Best

April 22, 2017 0 Comments

Success comes one day at a time. The only secret to success is that it is no secret. One must be willing to plant the seeds of success based upon character and create habits that lead to being successful.

The most-successful people will tell you that they were not always so successful. They will tell you stories of how they were once miserable and something made them change what they did. They will tell you that it was handwork doing things that changed what they used to do. They will tell you that "the best day to plant a tree was 20 years ago and the second best day is today."

In other words, success never comes overnight like winning the lottery. Success comes by being very clear on what you want, having clear focus on a goal, then putting energy doing the steps that it takes to slowly grow your success.

Yes, the analogy of growing plants is the key to success. You have to first plant the right seed (identify what you specifically want--this is your goal and how you define success), then water and nourish it everyday--stay focused and actually do things each and every day that get you one step closer to where you want to be.  When you chose to spend time doing things NOT related to your goal, then you are not going to get to where you want to be as quickly.

You get out of any situation what you put into it. Your life is in your control. Nobody else has as much influence over your success as you do. Focus is key to success. It helps you develop new habits and skills that leads to where you want to be. That is success!

So, stop doing things that are not leading you to where you heart desires. Start today and develop a strategy and plan that help you succeed!  Do it now then stick with that plan.

This BLOG is designed to help you be your very best. Please subscribe and tell your friends! You must surround yourself with people who will encourage and remind you to stick with your plan and change your habits.
